I just bought a new refrigerator. I wanted to keep the shelves clean. I put my fruits and cold cuts in them and it keeps them fresh. It also keeps the shelves clean.I only gave 4 stars bc I just got them. They seem durable enough. I like the handles. Important to me bc I have small hands and cannot grasp big containers. That is the reason for the purchase.I buy fruit purees, 44 lbs at a time and freeze it into cubes for smoothies. Damn I LOVE smoothies!I seal the bulk of them up to store and (finally)...I use these bins to keep the rest of them closed up, but easy to access.Love having this product for my flour n other dry goods. With the ones that I received the leds will not snap shut n is the biggest problem. So would not suggest if your storing liquids of any kind, also be careful about turning over or dropping and spelling what you gave in them.Love these. Definitely helpful when trying to save space. I use them in the fridge and pantry. The color was like avocado green instead of minty green. Other than that they are great.These are nice, good size and sturdy. The lids on my set are definitely not air tight, one is quite loose. So I won't be using them to keep food fresh, like I hoped, but they'll good for organizing other things.I am so disappointed in these containers. First, one of the containers arrived cracked down the middle,. More disappointing than that. they are NOT air tight. The lids fit so loosely that after you put them on the container, they rise up so they're just sitting on top instead of remaining closed. I wasn't expecting a Tupperware or Gladware like seal, but I WAS expecting the lids to stay on the container.Lastly, I bought the set with the green lids. The site shows an aqua-like color. What I got was a putrid shade of green that I utterly hate. They're going in a closet, so it doesn't matter, but I wanted to warn others that the colors on the listing for green does not in any way resemble the green that you'll receive if you order it.Between the damage, the fact the lids don't fit/stay on the base and the hideously misrepresented color, I'd give these a 0 if I could. So I emphatically don't recommend this product and am surprised at the favorable reviews. I rarely give bad reviews - I only wish I liked them. These are going to be used only until I can find a replacement - they're that bad.It works fine, just not as large as I thought.
